Can health problems be diagnosed through palm reading?
By Jena Griffiths | May 11, 2009
When I was a kid we had a house doctor who believed penicillin was the answer to every ache or pain, lump or bump fabricated by the human mind, body or spirit.
My dad used to joke that “old Kramer” would give you a shot of penicillin first and then only ask what was wrong with you. Actually this was true.
Old Dr Kramer looked like a mafia boss and his big cream-coloured Mercedes would roll into our driveway minutes after someone had coughed or sneezed or pretended to cough in order to escape school.
The moment I heard that terrifying sound outside my bedroom window, of tyres quietly churning up gravel, I wouldn’t just pick up my bed and walk, I’d run right up the road in my pyjamas. Or, if I wasn’t too sick I’d climb a tree, because that’s the only place “they” couldn’t reach me.
I swear, it’s all his fault that I became a champion triathlete later in life and also why I hardly ever missed a day of school or work due to illness. He cured me for life.
I hope if you’re a doctor you won’t be offended by what I tell you next.
Don’t get me wrong. I like doctors but only when they’re not wearing white coats. Some of my best friends are doctors. And one day, when you have time, I’ll tell you a few Dr stories straight from the horse’s mouth. Like how doctors are only human and have to learn from their mistakes just like anyone else. Usually they only figure out how not to kill someone by first accidentally doing this a few times.

- Image via Wikipedia
By the way, do you know the real reason why doctors wear white overcoats?
Because they can’t cure you without them. It’s true. Docs are over 60% more effective when wearing proper “doctor clothes”.
That’s because the human brain does most of the curing. The Doc just has to show up and act like he or she knows what he’s talking about and can cure you.
The problem with Drs is they have been brainwashed by the pharmaceutical companies. (And, in my opinion, this includes vitamin companies.) The whole of modern medicine is largely a huge racket for selling expensive medicine.
The tragedy is, doctors want to help and do save lives but they’re trapped in a faulty paradigm. Do you know that the third biggest killer in the US is medical treatment?
We are complex energetic systems. Health, wealth, spirit and emotions are all connected. Usually doctors try to treat the symptom rather than the cause of an illness.
We’re all unique and we all have different needs. But the body is intelligent and knows what it needs and what’s wrong. This is why kineseology is the diagnostic tool of the future. Particularly “gansheitliche kineseolgy” (This is a very powerful wholeistic kineseology practiced in Switzerland.)
What has this to do with hand analysis or palm reading?
Your hands respond to your thoughts. If you, don’t believe me try this experiment.
I wouldn’t trust any palm reader who says they can do accurate medical diagnosis or who claims to tell you how long you’re going to live.
This is not the purpose of hand analysis.
What hand analysis can tell you is what your needs are as a spirit and how this might be influencing your health.

Excellent post. Very helpful information for everyone.
May 31st, 2009 at 3:17 am
This is very interesting but we should not rely hundred percent on this, maybe it will good as an alternative.
May 31st, 2009 at 12:36 pm
Palm lines are the handiwork of genetics. So it could be proved scientifically that a person is prone or susceptible to such and such diseases and conditions. So in my opinion it could be a possibility that needs further investigation.
June 1st, 2009 at 9:56 pm
That was pretty cool about doctors being more effective when wearing white coats
June 4th, 2009 at 2:18 pm

This is an informative site. I think you made some good points in Features also.
June 16th, 2009 at 4:39 am
Palm reading as a tool to diagnosed health problems? hmmm… interesting. But I won’t rely on palm reading, I would rather see a genuine doctor to detect my health problem. But, if my doctor couldn’t figure out what’s my health problem then I should look for an alternative, maybe I will try this one.
June 23rd, 2009 at 12:50 pm
Informative post..keep them coming..bookmarked the blog already!
June 26th, 2009 at 1:10 pm
This was a very interesting post. I still don’t believe though that a palm reader could tell you what to do by reading your palms to improve your health.
July 3rd, 2009 at 11:24 pm
Very nice information. Thanks for this.
July 8th, 2009 at 1:02 pm
Keep working ,great job!
July 10th, 2009 at 8:12 am
VRy interesting to read it
July 15th, 2009 at 7:47 am
I tried that experiment you’ve linked to, and it didn’t work. My hands are still exactly the same size as each other. I’ve never believed in palm reading or anything like that though, so maybe that’s why it didn’t work.
July 15th, 2009 at 12:08 pm
Well if it didn’t work you’re a rare beast.
Everyone else is just blown away. I’ve seen some hands grow as much as a centimetre.
So perhaps you were thinking ’stay the same, stay the same!’
: ))
On the other hand, I think it is important to stay true to your own direct experience.
Don’t take my word or anyone else’s over your own truth.
Test. try. question. be vigilant.
The universe is possibly inside our individual heads anyway…

July 22nd, 2009 at 6:32 am
I’m not a pro when it comes to evaluating blogs – and most of what I’ve seen over the years leaves a lot to be desired. But you can take my word for it that your blog is everything they say it is and more! Seriously – nice information. I am so happy to read your blog!
July 24th, 2009 at 7:32 am
At first, I wasn’t sure if this blog would live up to its name. I wondered if I was just wasting time on something that would fall short of my expectations. It’s a good thing I was wrong! Nice article, I really like this!
July 25th, 2009 at 3:08 pm
I don’t believe that palm reading could diagnosed health problems. For me, it is better to visit doctors than anyone else.
July 29th, 2009 at 12:28 am

You hit the nail of the head where you said: The problem with Drs is they have been brainwashed by the pharmaceutical companies, how do I know, because I used to work for GSK, one of the biggest pharma companies in the world, and I can tell you first hand that the industry is corrupt, BIG TIME!!! It all started with the Rockerfeller’s get a hold of modern medicine and forcing homeophathy to lose out, all for $$$$.
Great post, thanks!!
September 27th, 2009 at 11:58 pm
Hey there, I discovered your site a number of weeks ago and have got through all the posts quietly. I decided I would write my firstcomment. Not really sure what to say but here goes. Great blog. Will call back soon to hear what else youve got to offer.
October 5th, 2009 at 10:37 am
This is an interesting take on the common hand analysis. And there is some truth to the doctors being brainwashed by the pharmaceutical companies.
I wonder if a non-profit pharmaceutical company is possible…

I agree that these are wonderful information, and nice writing yeah.
If someone reads my palm and told me that I am sick, well I would consult my physician right away because I am afraid of physical pain although I experienced a lot of physical anguishes like hemorrhoids and urinary incontinence in my life. And that physical anguishes make me decide to be a health advocate.
I have not experienced palm readings yet, but I would love to. I enjoyed this form a lot. Thank you and God bless to all.
October 14th, 2009 at 11:27 am
Yes this is very good blog. And thanks for sharing it.I don’t have any experience of palm readings yet, but I would love to.
October 17th, 2009 at 9:48 pm
You provide a very insight post. I would have never thought about deal with health issues in such a way. I’d have to read it bit more on this subject.
October 19th, 2009 at 6:14 am
Actuaaly I find it scary to know from your palm reading if you will suffer from something, when you will die, how many times you will marry, etc. This because I know it is true writing about your destiny.
October 20th, 2009 at 3:21 pm
This definition invited nations to expand the conceptual framework of their health systems beyond issues related to the physical condition of individuals and their diseases, and it motivated us to focus our attention on what we now call social determinants of health. Consequently, WHO challenged political, academic, community, and professional organizations devoted to improving or preserving health to make the scope of their work explicit, including their rationale for allocating resources. This opened the door for public accountability

i believe in palm reading but do not know much about it.but now i came to know many thing.thanks for informative post.
October 26th, 2009 at 12:46 pm
I think you need to be very careful what you take from those readings. Many people often talk themselves into becoming sick and I dont think palm reading would help someone susceptible to this….just my opinion
October 27th, 2009 at 9:42 am
It seems health lies in the palm. A lot of acupuncture and acupressure techniques rely on this fact
October 29th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Now, your health is in your hand has both literal and metaphorical meaning

Palmistry or chiromancy (also spelled cheiromancy, Greek cheir (χειρ), “hand”; manteia (μαντεία), “divination”), is the art of characterization and foretelling the future through the study of the palm, also known as palm reading, or chirology. The practice is found all over the world, with numerous cultural variations. Those who practice chiromancy are generally called palmists, palm readers, hand readers, hand analysts,or chirologists.

November 5th, 2009 at 8:37 am
As a medical postgraduate I understand very clearly what are you talking about. It is true that there are doctors, who do not fit or were forced into this occupation. And, in our times of endless politics, financial crises and corruption, the results are really horrible sometimes. As to palm reading: it really works, and sometimes even a handshake is enough for those doctors, who are heaven-born specialists…
November 6th, 2009 at 8:23 pm
Thank you for you post, it very instructive for me.

Palm reading is a very interesting topic and the health benefits are probably not entirely understood. Its interesting hearing about it however and exploring more avenues to diagnosing medical conditions.
January 2nd, 2010 at 5:15 pm
Unfortunately every profession has some corruption among its members, and the medical community is no exception. Over the years, I’ve been to a lot of physicians, and many of them literally greet you holding a “prescription pad”, all ready to prescribe what the latest pharmaceutical rep was pushing.(I’m sure free trips, etc. had nothing to do with it! LOL) I haven’t heard about the palm reading aspect of your body telling you what it needs. Very interesting.

I don’t think so that health problems can be solved through the palm reading and if it is possible then why we need doctors. There are so many people who have believed in it so we can not do any thing for this.
Thanks for sharing.

January 20th, 2010 at 10:02 am
This is true around the world but it seems to antibiotics with in my area, I don’t think they have a scooby whats going on. Did you read the story’s in the papers this morning about the futuristic “plasma jet” that eradicates tooth decay without fillings could be replacing the dentist’s drill in as little as three years, a study claims. The space-age device fires a beam of electrically charged oxygen atoms into tooth cavities to obliterate decay-causing bacteria without pain. The study has shown that firing low-temperature plasma beams at dentine – the fibrous tooth structure below the enamel – can reduce bacteria levels by up to 10,000 times. Plasmas are produced when atoms in a gas are stripped of one or more of their electrons, leaving them positively charged. This is a great breakthrough. Not that I know what a plasma thingy migigy is but the fact I may never need to experance my teeth getting drilled will make me sleep better at night.Gav @ dental insurance UK
