In Switzerland burnout is a word people understand.
It’s one of the few legitimate ways people here can get a little
time out for self discovery.
Sometimes burnout is a gift because the wrong road you took
suddenly comes to an abrupt halt.

Our Wednesday night’s class with Richard Unger on this topic was
fascinating.
Richard made some intersting points.
One being that burnout isn’t always caused from working too hard
but sometimes its from
not doing enough. Just as a car engine burns out when the revs
are too high because you’re in the wrong gear.
If this is you, your hands are full of markers that point to just
what it is you should be doing to release the hand brake or shift
to a higher gear.
Some personality types have a higher risk for burnout if they are
not living their type.
